Car Problems

If you have a car with ongoing problems, you know how difficult it can be to get it fixed. Many times traveling back and forth to the dealer can require far more time and effort than most consumers are willing to accept in order to satisfactorily resolve their car problems. In essence, a lemon automobile is an undesirable hassle. Most states have thankfully established their own lemon laws so the consumers can rid themselves of their lemons. Also, many individual car manufacturers have done a thorough job of giving you the tools and information you need to determine if your vehicle has a problem that needs immediate attention.

However, most dealers are usually disinclined to "bend over backwards" to fix your car. Car companies are mostly concerned with selling vehicles, not spending money on warranty repairs for your car’s deficiencies. Oftentimes, their policy is to reduce warranty costs to save money. Thus, car dealers are unlikely to make frequent visits to the dealers to help resolve any difficult problems with individual cars.

Each year, car manufacturers send their dealers an extremely high amount of repair bulletins (in the hundreds) for cars that might be deemed lemons, explaining how in fact to remedy these problems. These Technical Service Bulletins (often called "TSBs") explain to dealers how to fix these widespread car problems or sometimes inform them that no fix is available! These issues are found in many models of all car lines. Considering these staggering numbers - and that these reports do not necessarily include "Safety Recalls" or any ongoing federal investigations for safety defects on these cars - if you think your car is potentially a lemon, you are likely not alone.

You may be merely wasting your time taking your car into the dealership over and over again, thus legal advice on lemon laws may be your best solution.
